Trip to Nagoya

Our church supports the Newsomes in Nagoya so we went to visit them for the first time on Monday and Tuesday. We went on the bullet train, or Shinkansen. It was a great visit seeing their work (and participating in some classes and Bible studies).

Walking Around Chiba Downtown

Chiba City proper is a bustling metropolitan area of over a million people. We went today and walked around to get a feel for it.

On the way we saw this parking place which has a motorized lift

More Food

You must be thinking all we do is eat, but here's another food outing. We went to a "yaki niku" restaurant where you cook your own meat at a grill built into the table. It was probably the best we have ever eaten!

 

 

 

 

Last Sonship Class and Lunch for Short Term Workers

We finished our Sonship series Thursday and then there was a covered dish lunch which was also for several English classes as well as the short term workers who will be going home soon.
