Welcomed Home!

What wonderful friends we have, on both sides of the world!
Yoji and his family got up early and drove us to the airport

Yoji's wife and son, and little girl due in September!

This trip was the first time for us on a Japanese air carrier and the service is just better!

Tried to sleep but couldn't, so took a picture of everyone watching their screens!

Ice crystals on the window at 35,000 feet and minus 59 degrees F

Sunrise somewhere over Alaska - A different perspective seeing clouds from above

"The heavens declare the glory of God;
     the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
       night after night they display knowledge."
Psalm 19:1-2

 We were overwhelmed with the love of so many dear friends who came to welcome us home!

The 24 hours of travel and exhaustion were wiped out in a moment by such a wonderful greeting. The heavens are telling of the glory of God, and so is the love of friends in the Lord.

Dave giving the kids some Japanese coins, while waiting for the 4th bag (it got taken by another passenger). They found it and will deliver to us. Even lost luggage is a reminder of Jesus' words in John 18:9 to his Father: "I have not lost one of those you gave me."

I love the "reenactment" picture!!
I am glad you found your bag.
Was it the people with the red bag on their cart?
